Photoshop Questions

Who is the Photoshop (UK) Ltd
The Photoshop, is the result of an idea formed by three friends over a beer - James who already had and Establised Ariel Photography business, Hannah and Shane who run a Website design, Graphic design and Print Business, all of us are keen photographers and all of us are involved (Or have been) with hobbies and sports with in the Equestrian, Sailing, Motorsports industries. As competetors in sports we realised that while the beauty of Digital cameras means you can take as many pictures as you like, its short falll is that very few people then go home and print them. We realised that people want to see there photos printed, but most home printers still cant match the quality of the high street photo developer.

What do you do / How does it work
Its simple really, just give us a call or email us and book us to your event, once confirmed our team will attend your event and our photographers will shoot images all day (Or for as long as you have asked) Every 20 mins or so images from the photograhers cameras are sent back to the Van, where they are processed, and displayed on public display monitors outside the van, customers can the select the images they want on the screen, and when they are ready, simply tell one of the team at the van and they will be printed while they wait.

So your Van needs to be near an electric socket?
You would think so wouldnt you! But actually No. All our vans are equipped with Super Silent Diesel Generators, these are not only queit (as the name suggests) but by running on diesel they are much safer to use that standard petrol generators.

So your printing is better?
Yes!! The printers in our Vans dont use normal ink cartridges to print, they dont even use normal paper, our top secret (Powered by magic) printers produce images upto A4 in under 2 minutes that match the quality of a high street photo outlet

So you only print A4?

Not at all! From ours Vans we can print anything from Keyrings to A4 in super high Glossy Photo finish, we also carry A3 Inkjet Photo printers

Event Booking Questions

Ive got to have you at my event what do I do?
Its simple get intouch with us at the office, or drop us an email and one of us will be happy to help, well run through a few questions about your event and we can take it from there.

Is it expensive to hire you?
Ha ha - I guess that all depends on who you ask!! We certainly dont think so, there are two types of engagement, our most common form is our Pay As You Go Scheme, once the booking is confirmed we will attend your event at no charge to the event organisers whatsoever, our photographers will take the pictures and customers buy the pictures as they want them for a fixed price. Our second packeage is often used by our corporate customers, and by stag and hen nights, for a pre arranged fee we can attend your event and we will take all the pictures as normal, however with our corporate packages all printing is free upto an agreed number of prints, this is great if you wish attendees at your event to have a permanent keepsake of the day - of course with the corporate event we can even put your logo on each picture.

Website Questions

Some parts of the website dont work. Why ?
We are working flat out to get the webiste running at full functionality but it all takes time, the full time line for completion of all aspects of the website is Mid - Late May 2007, so we are nearly there. If there is any part you wish to discuss, or a feature you think we need to add, the please drop us a line!

How does the website work - does it do anything special?
Of course its special - if you have got this far im sure you wouldnt expect anything less!! Of course its not all there yet, but already you can view images from any of the events we have attended, shortly you will be able to place your orders online and pay by credit card, but untill then just give us a call and will take you details over the phone and get the images on the way to you. At the top of each page you will see the 'My Album' box, here you will be able to drag any images from the events and add them to a CD, when your happy, press the button, and we will print your own customised CD for you.

Where are the images from my event ?
We always try to have images uploaded to the site within 24Hrs of the event ending sometimes this just isnt possible, but rest assured we are working on it, if you need images urgently, then please give us a ring, we will do our best to help where we can!

My event is there but i cant find a picture of me! ?
Depending on the size of the event we cant always take pictures of everyone, we also filter all photos before uploading them to the website, any photos that we feel are inapproproate, out of focus, blurred ect ect will be left out, we do keep a master disk of the event though so give us a call and we'll see what we can do

Payment Questions
How can I Pay at an event?
We current accept most forms of payment at events, Credit and Debit Cards (Subject to our machine having mobile phone signal), Cheques (With Guarantee Card) and of course Cash!

I dont like putting my credit card details into websites?

Thats fine, just give us a call with your order and we can take your details over the phone, and process them immediately.

Can I Pay by cheque?
Of course, Just make cheques payable to The Photoshop (UK) Ltd, and post them with your order form to "Photoshop Payment Clearing, Unit 1 Church Close, Todber, Dorset DT10 1JH"

How Secure is your websites payment gateway?

All Credit Card paymets through our website are handled by a specialist Third Party secure payment handler, When using this method we at the Photoshop never get to see your card details.

Post and Packing Questions
How will my photos be packaged?
Photos - are sent in board-backed envelopes with "Please do not bend" clearly printed on them.
Posters - are sent separately rolled in a cardboard tube.

Why do you send by Recorded Delivery?
Recorded Delivery is our chosen method of delivery for 3 reasons:

1) - To prevent your friendly postman from folding your photos in half to get them through your letter box!
2) - To confirm safe delivery of your order.
3) - Recorded Delivery provides insurance up to £28 for lost or damaged items.

Note - If your order is for more than £28 please ensure you select the Special Delivery option when ordering as this will cover for upto £250.

How long will it take to receive my order?
We try to fulfill all orders within 24 hours (Monday-Friday). However during busy periods please allow up to 28 days for delivery.

What happens if my photos arrive damaged?

We will happily exchange any products damaged during delivery. Please return any damaged items with a copy of your invoice to:

What happens if my photos are lost?
You will receive a confirmation email from us when your items are sent. Please notify us if your order has not arrived within 10 days of receiving this email.
